Welcome to The Stratford Hotel, a beloved & unique 12-room historic hotel. Our 19th-century hotel is located in a storied building awash with history and legacy. The hotel blends elegant interiors and classic hospitality with modern comforts—refreshed in spring 2025 for a new era.

We want you to get the most out of your vacation, so we’ve eliminated the front desk and implemented keyless, digital self-check-in/check-out which makes for breezy arrivals and bon voyages, and 24/7 digital concierge via chat/phone call for recommendations and requests. If you decide you want to kick it old school, we can do that too. Let us know ahead of time and you can check in at our sister property a short 5-minute walk away.

Everything that makes Stratford so beloved, awaits outside our doors. Famous landmarks rise beside unrivaled shopping, theatres, and restaurants. Our hotel is a short walk to the Avon Theatre, Studio Theatre, and Tom Patterson Theatre, and a pleasant 20-minute stroll to the Festival Theatre along the beautiful Avon River. Shakespearean Gardens is a short 7-minute walk, and there are plenty of green spaces and intimate places to be discovered. Take your pick. Whichever direction you decide to walk, something is waiting to be explored.

Room provided real glasses, wine glasses, a Nespresso machine and a breakfast box with muffin, croissant and fruit in the morning.     “Perfect, small historical hotel in the center of Stratford. Securely park your car there and enjoy the stroll throughout the town to any one of the theaters that are just minutes away. Enjoy a Beautiful walk along the lake and Parks. We stayed in the lovely suite that included two bathrooms , living room area with pull out comfy bed, fireplace and a separate king bed with a refrigerator. The shower was very warm and strong pressure. Hotel management was very kind to give us two delicious chocolate mousse cakes to celebrate my friend's birthday. Also, the box breakfast in the morning had a delicious oversized fresh, blueberry muffin very large buttered croissant and a fresh orange ; there's plenty of cappuccino to make or tea in the suite. A delightful stay and very ,very clean”
